Who we are
Wizard of the Web operates wizardoftheweb.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@wizardoftheweb.com.
Information you provide
When you request an estimate, we collect your name, email address, business or organization if provided, project description, requested services, timeline, budget preference, and quote reference. If you contact us by email, we also receive the content of your correspondence. Please do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, sensitive personal information, or confidential access credentials through the quote form.
Automatically processed technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and request information, and technical signals to deliver the site, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect the quote form. Cloudflare Turnstile processes signals to distinguish automated activity from legitimate submissions. Rate-limiting controls use request and email identifiers to discourage spam.
How we use information
We use information to produce estimates, respond to inquiries, evaluate proposed projects, manage customer relationships, maintain records, investigate technical problems, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. A quote submission is not an enrollment in marketing communications.
Where information goes
Quote details are stored in Cloudflare D1 and sent as email notifications to our business contact address. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, database, Turnstile and email-delivery infrastructure; email may be delivered through an email provider you use. We may share information with service providers acting for us or when required by law. We do not represent that customer quote information is sold.
PDF estimates
A PDF estimate may be generated in your browser and attached to the notification sent to us. Quote details are received by our systems when you submit the request. Do not assume that merely closing the PDF deletes a submitted inquiry.
Retention and security
We retain quote records and correspondence as reasonably needed for inquiries, legitimate business operations, dispute handling and legal compliance. The current quote database does not automatically delete records after a specified period. No online system can guarantee absolute security; please use email rather than the quote form to discuss sensitive details.
Your choices and requests
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your submitted information by writing to contact@wizardoftheweb.com. Requests will be reviewed and fulfilled where applicable law permits or requires; some records may need to be retained for legitimate or legal reasons. Include enough information to identify the inquiry, such as a quote reference, without sending sensitive documents.
International and regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights regarding information access, correction, deletion, or disclosure. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. This site does not presently advertise or implement a separate account dashboard for privacy requests.
Updates
We may change this notice when site functionality or legal requirements change. The updated version will appear on this page with a revision date.
